Why Classroom Lighting is Switching to LEDs Instead of Fluorescent Lighting
In recent years, students myopia is widespread, and even become one of the main health problems affecting young young people. The General Office of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, the General Office of the Ministry of Education to the National Health Office of women and children, October 19, 2016 issued “on strengthening the prevention and control of myopia in children and adolescents, the guiding opinions”. The Opinions put forward the implementation of scientific education, to create a good eye environment guidance. It aims to effectively control the incidence of myopia among children and adolescents. The document points out that all primary and secondary schools should, in accordance with the requirements of the Prevention and Control Work Program, ensure that all teaching facilities and conditions (lighting and illumination in classrooms and dormitories, the provision of desks and chairs, and blackboards, etc.) meet the requirements of the relevant national documents and standards, and provide students with learning environments that meet the requirements of eye health.
